Treat your administrative staff to two- one hour virtual sessions with the PG Chamber & TELUS on Wednesday, April 28th. 

Featuring two local experts, we will dive into topics such as Social Media Management and Work-Life Balance. Both sessions will offer an opportunity to win  great prizes donated by TELUS & Linda Rempel of SunLife Financial. 

10:00am Social Media Management with Alyson Gourley-Cramer.

Alyson Gourley-Cramer has extensive experience as a certified teacher, trainer, speaker and presenter. She has engaged audiences on the topics of crisis communications, issues management, institutional rebrands, social media, website redesigns, and community engagement project design. A former Executive Director, Alyson has 16 years of professional experience in the PR profession. She has worked within nonprofit organizations, union environments, corporations and with governing boards, and has worked extensively with government from the municipal to the federal level. This experience is invaluable in designing compelling training resources drawing on real-workplace examples that participants find meaningful and relatable. Alyson's direct approach to knowledge-sharing has engaged audiences within her own professional community through the Canadian Public Relations Society, and externally through a series of webinars she designed for the Canada Games Council and LGMA. Her approachable style, sense of humour, and ability to pivot have won her accolades and industry awards for her work. 

2:00pm Work-Life Balance with Zandra Ross

 

Zandra Ross is a community and organizational development magician and a healthy lifestyle nut. She is dedicated to helping groups and individuals achieve their goals through honest communication, skill building, team building, healthy lifestyle development, and lifestyle/executive coaching.

Zandra's work and volunteer experience includes training and employment, organizational and community development, community treaty preparation, fundraising/proposal development, program/service development and delivery, strategic planning, human resource management, event planning, needs assessment researcher/statistician, facilitation/public speaking, personal training, group fitness, yoga teacher and health/lifestyle/executive coaching.

She is of First Nation's descent from the Williams Lake First Nation and has worked extensively in First Nations communities with members and leadership in all capacities. Her consulting work has also included an overseas assignment to Davao, Philippines as an Indigenous Persons Specialist with the Philippines-Canada Economic and Environmental Development and Management organization (PCEEM). During this time, she engaged local leaders, natural resource specialists and indigenous communities to develop sustainable community driven economic and environmental strategies.
