A strong and thriving B.C. mining industry can continue to play a pivotal leadership role in Canada's transition to a clean tech, lower-carbon future, for the benefit of all British Columbians. Lindsay Kislock will speak about what is needed to ensure the B.C. mining industry is globally competitive and well positioned to continue providing significant economic and social contributions and, importantly, creating the mining jobs of tomorrow.
Prior to joining MABC, Lindsay served as the Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for Transportation Trade Network planning and the Pacific Gateway Alliance, with the Ministry of Transportation. Lindsay also held various other Assistant Deputy Minister portfolios during her 25 years with the Province of BC including health, agriculture and small business and regulatory reform.
Lindsay holds a masters degree from the University of Washington in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lakehead University.
