Derek is a 25 year veteran of the Pacific Northwest financial community, having spent the last 23 years with Roynat Capital, one of the largest providers of long term capital in Canada with over $4 Billion in assets. Derek’s current role with Scotiabank is directing both Roynat and Commercial Banking for Scotia in the BC Interior.
 
In his career with Roynat and Scotiabank, Derek has been involved as a provider of Senior Term, Subordinated Debt and Equity, in numerous shareholder transactions including management buyouts, partner buyouts, equity recaps and corporate acquisitions of various sizes and industries across North America.
